Forever Came Today - Jackson5 - Larry Levan Remix
Classic tune with Larry levan in the Mix.
The single was revived eight years later in a disco version by another Motown group, The Jackson 5. The Jacksons had replaced the Supremes as the label's top-selling act during the early 1970s and by 1975 were going through problems with Motown and making plans to leave the company. The Jackson 5's version peaked at number sixty on the pop chart in the U.S., but became a number-one hit on the Billboard dance chart. The single's B-side, "All I Do Is Think of You", was later extensively covered and sampled by contemporary R&B and hip hop artists.

Genialidad!!!!!!!
True words about the great Larry Levan!!
❤️❤️❤️
I use to lose all control when Ron would beat this. Baby, the Box would be jumping. I use to stomp when Ron would take out the bass and all we’d hear is the midvoice and tweeters. Ron’s edited version was beatin. Ron would bring it all the way down and we would scream. Allllllllll Right Ron, then i’d say you betta beat it damit. RIP RON.
Preach ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Me and Michael 1 year apart... So Sad. I chased my first girlfriend playing Run, Catch, Kiss
Our memories will Never die... What a different Society than now...

Sounds the same as the album version to me. I don’t hear a remix.
One of my all time favorites
Repairing..reopening Notre Dame..one day soon🙏🤞😷
Peace, I never saw Larry Levan, never been to the Paradise Garage but I did get a chance to see his partner in music Frankie Knuckles. The movement these men (and others) started in NYC gave birth to the Chicago House music culture. This brings back memories of a great childhood. I hope that these guys knew how much they impacted the world. I have heard records he remixed and this man was a bad man on the wheels of steel. Peace to Paradise Garage, the Warehouse, the Box, Medusa's, Mendel and other great clubs !!!
I came here 2 hear a Ron Hardy mix. But this will do 2! 💃🏽🕺🏾
If you losses you love Go to Paris is ther,

What this is not is a remix. But what this is, is a Larry song being played on a system that brings out the best of what this song has to offer. Larry was never scared and he would make it last forever, forever, forever ...
Wrong! Check out Frankie Knuckles mix. That's a remix now!
God, I got all excited when I read "Larry Levan Remix". Alas, it is the original album version. Still great, but not Larry. Some of the contradictory comments below are kinda funny. I do recommend you give a listen to the Frankie Knuckles' Director's Cut Late Night Antics Remix if you'd like to hear an actual remix of the album version you're listening to here. It's also available on RUclips. DJ Robbie Leslie
This should've been a massive chart hit, it did reach No1 on the Billboard Disco Action chart
Awesome. Love that chug at the beginning.

Awesome mix. Sometimes we don't know of the DJ's and music mixers who are behind the success of alot of musicians/music. R.I.P. Larry Leven.

Paradise Garage!!!! 84 King Street, NYC R.I.P. Larry Levan.
YES MY BROTHER ALL U SAID ENOUGH SAID !
(MAKE IT LAST FOREVER),''THE PARADISE GARAGE!!
I was born in raised in ny mom moved us to b-more i was under age at the time but my uncle worked in the A&R at CASABLONKA RECORDS so that was not a problem going with him. When Larry played this song it was magical i would give anything to relive those wonderful nights.
there were some clubs that could be compared to THE GARAGE, but that was then,, i don't think there will ever be another like it... some may try.. but ......
i feel you, bro. i kinda think the shelter was close 2nd after paradise. but your correct nothing will compare to Larry spending the turn tables at the garage. man those were the days.
I was lucky enough to experience Paradise just once. Musically the impact was everlasting.
FOREVER AND EVER...........
Give me the good old days.
